Shamans feel the world in gratitude and love. My own shamanic outlook on life was created by a blend of many personal experiences and wonderful books I have read. This is a list of my favorite and most influential books about shamanism.

Keepers of the Ancient Knowledge: The Mystical World of the Q'ero Indians of Peru

I apprenticed in Peruvian shamanism. This first hand account of living and interacting with Q'ero shamans is a jewel of a book and full of love for the Q'ero people. These shamans' goal was to live all of life as a ceremony honoring spirit.

The Bowl of Light: Ancestral Wisdom from a Hawaiian Shaman

May 1, 2011 by Hank Wesselman (Author)

I loved this book, one of many exploring shamanism by anthropologist Hank Wesselman. Wesselman explores his relationship with Hawaiian Kahuna Hale Makua. Their mutual love and respect permeates his writing. The kahuna's knowledge and world view revealed in this book will change your life! It did mine!

Call of the Trees 1st Edition

Mar 2006 by Dorothy Maclean

Dorothy Maclean of Findhorn fame brings us messages from the trees. Her sensitivity and love of nature shine throughout. The messages are full of kindness and love. Dorothy is a delight and I'm very into trees!

Let The Standing Stones Speak:

Messages from the Archangels Revealed

May 2004 by Natasha Hoffman

Although not specifically about shamanism, this book channeled from standing stone rocks in Britain and France has been a major influence on me. The messages are wide ranging and explain the world from the Archangels perspective. I have given away over 20 copies of this book to friends!
